Why I built this
I lost my mother while she was living in an assisted living community. In the aftermath, I found myself searching public records, trying to understand what had happened and whether there were warning signs I had missed.
The information was scattered across government websites. It was hard to find, harder to interpret, and impossible to subscribe to. There was no way to ask the simple question: tell me if anything happens here.
I built Senior Living Watch to give other families what I wish I had had: a way to know, quickly and in plain terms, when something happens where someone they love lives.

Care centers nationwide. We monitor every Medicare- and Medicaid-certified care center in the country, about 14,700+ across all 50 states, the District of Columbia, and U.S. territories. The data comes from CMS, the federal agency that regulates nursing homes.
